Welcome Reception and Entertainment

Friday Evening, 23rd September

The opening reception of the second Burren Peaks Walking Festival will take place in "An Fear Gorta", Tea and Garden Rooms, The Pier, Ballyvaughan at 8 pm on Friday 23rd September.

The reception will include a Burren Talk by Dr Brendan Dunford, a slide show of Burren photos, along with festival and walking routes information. The evening affords you the opportunity to meet members of the Ballyvaughan Fanore Walking Club, who will be your guides for the weekend, and to discuss your chosen walk/walks.

Refreshments available and the Reception will be followed by music in the local pubs.

We look forward to meeting you at our reception.

Saturday morning enjoy a stroll around the local farmers market. Sunday morning visit the local craft fair. Both take place at the parish hall on the Galway road.

Friday, Saturday & Sunday evening enjoy a meal in one of our restaurants and that night call into the local pubs for ceol, craic agus caint, and share your story about your walks with friends.
